If anyone would like a quieter area outside the city then take the green line to Gessate.Get the Trezzo bus and get off at the end of the line Trezzo sull Adda.This is a fantastic place for walking,running and biking.I think you can hire bikes by the river.I've posted a photo for you to see.There's also a nice castle looking over the river.It takes about an hour from central station altogether.
Search for: "via a sala trezzo sull adda" on google maps.You will see the yellow street where the bus stops just before the roundabout.You need to go down the streets to the left of the via a sala & the river. Any questions just ask
